The mantra is fully dedicated to Mata Mahalakshmi, the great goddess of wealth and prosperity.
- The first verse is the salutation to the Mahamaya who is established on a lotus and is idolized by all the Devatas. She was holding a conch and mace in her hands. Everyone bow to her.
- The second verse is a salutation to Mata Mahalakshmi who is sitting on a Garuda and terrifying the Demon Kola. She is here to remove all the sins from ourselves. We bow to her.
- The third verse salutes the divine mother who is omniscient and grants boons to us. She is terrifying all the evil spirits and removing our sufferings. We all bow to you Maa.
- The fourth verse says about Mata Mahalakshmi who blesses us with success and wisdom and fulfills our material desires and spiritual aims. She is the embodiment of the sacred hymns and we all bow to her.
- The fifth verse says that Mata Mahalakshmi is the beginning and the end. She is the primary source of energy that comes from the divine grace. She is the source of all yoga and we bow to her.
- The sixth verse says that Mata Mahalakshmi exists in all obvious and subtle forms. She is terrible and she is calm – you will find her everywhere and in all sources of energy. She removes the sins from us and makes us pure. We bow to you.
- The seventh verse says that Mata Mahalakshmi is seated on a lotus and she is the supreme form of divinity. She is the supreme mother of the universe and we bow to her for all her blessings.
- The eighth verse says that Mata Mahalakshmi is dressed in white attire and adorned with different ornaments. She is omnipresent as she is the mother of the universe and we all bow to you.
